But he's in a very tough race this year - now's your chance to let him know Cary appreciates the work he's doing and have a good time while we're at it! We'll meet up at 9:45 and hear from Rep. David Price, Ty, and local elected officials. Then we'll fan across Cary, knocking on doors and telling Cary voters about their great Representative. Afterwards, we'll come back to the park to hang out with Ty and fellow supporters, share canvassing stories, and eat some hot dogs and burgers! | ||

Dear Friend: We're having an open house for campaign volunteers on Sunday afternoon, September 7 from 4:00 to 6:00. The open house will be at our campaign headquarters located at 400 Oberlin Road, Suite 110 in Cameron Village. We'll have light refreshments, but don't plan to skip dinner on our account. If the higher profile campaigns play well with others, we'll coordinate our volunteer efforts closely with other Democratic campaigns, so you don't have to worry about neglecting other campaigns to help us. Also, we need to have a strong yard sign effort to show grassroots support. It would be a great help if you could take a yard sign this fall. Our campaign should receive much less attention this year, and we expect to spend less too. I don't miss the notoriety at all--really, not at all--but a lower profile campaign makes our grassroots effort all the more important. Join us for this great event as the campaign and the North Carolina House Leadership join forces to help take out the Republican House Minority Leader, Skip Stam. | ||
